Durango

We blasted down CO 285 which is an awesome drive. If your lucky enough to catch it when the colors of fall are in full bloom I’m certain it would spectacular.

We drove until the sun burned out for the day and pulled off in the Rio Grande National Forest outside of South Fork. A night at Beaver Creek Campground filled the need. Not much there but perfect for setting up a tent on the way through.

Wandered into Durango to fill up groceries for the trip. Since we had some time we wandered downtown where Oktoberfest is starting up. Saw some interesting things and had some fun then headed over to the Steamworks Brew Pub for lunch. Great place to chill.
